The Truth About Advocacy
Washington D.C. Costs Money
ABLE has traveled to the nation's capital to advocate. That trip isn't free — and more trips are needed.
Policy Work Isn't Free
Attending meetings, reviewing legislation, providing testimony — it all takes time and resources our members don't always have.
People Come First
ABLE's members have lived experience — meaning they've been through the system. Your donation supports people who give back when they have every reason not to.
No Corporate Backing
ABLE is community-powered. We don't have a corporation writing checks. We depend on people who believe in this work.
